Other Complaints
If your complaint is not about mental health and addiction services, you might like to consider some other avenues:
- If you would like general legal advice, contact your local Community Law Centre (your Citizens Advice Bureau, listed in the white pages of the telephone book, will be able to find your local Community Law Centre)
- If you wish to complain about a crime, contact the Police
- If your complaint relates to privacy matters, contact the Privacy Commissioner
- If you would like more information on privacy issues in the mental health sector: Expectations for information-sharing and related practices in mental health services National Statement
- If your complaint is about a human rights or discrimination issue, for example housing, justice, employment or benefit payments, contact the Human Rights Commission
